Sheri's black and white image of battling hippos entitled "Clash of the Titans" was highly commended in the 2009 Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.The judges received 43,135 images from 94 countries. Sheri's photograph was on display at the Natural History Museum, London and toured internationally.

October 10, 2009: Los Angeles Zoo - Lecture by Year of the Gorilla Ambassador, Ian Redmond, followed by a fundraiser. Sheri will donate a large, framed photograph of a wild mountain gorilla to the silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the United Nations Year of the Gorilla conservation projects.
